Course Description
(PV 425) PV System O&M Fundamentals
This four-hour course is designed to provide current and aspiring solar energy technicians an understanding of the periodic maintenance required to ensure optimal energy production over the lifetime of a photovoltaic (PV) system.
Participants will review the components in a PV system, identify common PV system malfunctions, learn what’s expected in a six-month and twelve-month checkup, examine I-V curves to recognize production issues and explore tools that can be used to find existing and potential problem areas.
