As a Registered Training Provider for the NABCEP PV Associate (PVA) Credential, we provide affordable, high-quality solar training that’s trusted by community organizations, employers, educational institutions, and government agencies. We proudly deliver workforce development programs throughout the Midwest and flexible online training to learners nationwide, offering customized solutions that make it easier than ever to prepare people for careers in the growing clean energy industry.

Training formats include online, classroom training, or lab classes at your site, in-person training at our facilities in Wisconsin, or hybrid training, which combines online lecture courses with hands-on labs.

Online Training

The MREA uses Canvas as our LMS. Group training online allows students to move at their own pace while an instructor or supervisor monitors their progress and provides support.

Online group training is often used for:
– Onboarding new employees
– Upskilling or credentialing workers
– Providing modules to high school/college classes

In-Person Training

The MREA works with a network of instructors to provide in-person training both at our headquarters in Central WI and in classrooms throughout the Midwest. We utilize Illuminations Solar’s mobile solar training lab to bring classroom concepts into the students’ hands.

In-Person group training is often used for:
– Workforce development programs
– Professional conference offerings
– Upskilling or credentialing workers

Cam Services

MREA has partnered with Cam Services to help students transition from training into registered apprenticeship and employment opportunities.

Continuing Education Credits

Many MREA courses are recognized for continuing education credits (CECs) by state licensing agencies, skilled and construction trade associations, and renewable energy credentialing organizations such as NABCEP.
