After leaving the MREA for a short while to pursue a career in the medical field, Greta is back where her heart belongs! As Training Director, Greta helps to organize and implement MREA courses and custom group trainings. She brings a wealth of knowledge since she began at MREA in 2007!
She grew up in the north woods, near Hayward, WI and moved to the area to attend UWSP. Greta graduated in 2004 with a BS in Geography, Minor Environmental Studies and never left the area. In 2012, she went back to school to earn her technical diploma as a Surgical Technician and, now she’s back at the MREA. She lives in a home that doubles as a dog grooming/training facility in Stevens Point, with her partner. They have a small zoo consisting of two dogs, tortoises, a cat, and a snake; there is never a dull moment!
