Anyone wishing to cancel a course registration should email courses@midwestrenew.org or call the MREA at 715-592-6595. The following fees may apply:
- Cancellation two weeks or more prior to start date: If a registrant cancels two weeks or more prior to the course start date, the registrant forfeits a $25 processing fee, and the remaining course fee will be refunded.

- Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment, up to three days prior to the start date. Course fees will be refunded, but the MREA is not responsible for costs associated with travel or lodging arrangements. Travel insurance is recommended.
Failure to enroll in or complete an online course:
- If a registrant does not enroll in one or more of the required online courses within two years of registering for a course package, full price at current rates will be charged to retake the course(s).
- Students are given 365 days to complete an online course once enrolled, so it’s permissible for the completion (due) date of an online course to extend beyond the 2-year limit.
- If an online course is not completed by the assigned due date, full price at current rates will be charged to retake the course.
Failure to enroll in or attend an in-person course:
- If a registrant does not select and enroll in the required in-person course(s) within two years of registering for a course package, full price at current rates will be charged to retake the course(s).
- It’s permissible to select and attend an in-person course scheduled for a date that falls after the 2-year limit, as long as the enrollment process is completed by choosing an offering that is listed on the current course schedule within two years of registering for the course package.
- If a registrant enrolls in an in-person course but cancels one week or more before the start date, a $25 fee will be charged to transfer enrollment to another offering of the same course.
- If a registrant enrolls in an in-person course but cancels less than one week before the start date, a $100 fee will be charged to transfer enrollment to another offering of the same course.
- If a registrant fails to attend an in-person course without prior notice, full price at current rates will be charged to retake the course.
- Lenience will be granted for extenuating circumstances like course cancellations, adverse weather, and other similar emergencies.
- Canceling an online course registration: If a registrant cancels an online course registration within one week, no fees apply and full course tuition will be refunded. If a cancellation is requested after one week of registration, the registrant forfeits a $25 processing fee, and the remaining course tuition will be refunded.
- Failure to complete a course: If a registrant does not complete an online course by the assigned due date, the registrant forfeits the entire course fee. Extensions are available for PV Associate Core Courses and Advanced PV Courses only.
If you need to cancel a course registration please contact courses@midwestrenew.org or call us at 715-592-6595.
