Founded in 2007, Mayfield Renewables provides expertise through a variety of services — including full system engineering design, specialized consulting, and educational programs — to companies in the solar and energy storage industries. Our focus is on complex C&I PV+ESS electrical engineering nationally, then sharing our expertise through education.
Classes are rooted in deep expertise in codes and standards from 25+ years of teaching, participating on the National Electrical Code making panel, and acting as engineer of record for complex systems for 20 years. All formal classes qualify for NABCEP continuing education credits.
The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) offers voluntary certifications and credentials for skilled professionals, specialists, and those new to working in the areas of photovoltaics, solar heating, and small wind technologies.
