Course Description
(PV 216) PV Operations & Maintenance
This four-hour online course introduces the tools, techniques, and best practices used to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Participants will learn how monitoring equipment and electrical test instruments are used to evaluate system performance, identify issues, and support safe, reliable operation.
Topics include energy and environmental monitoring, electrical testing equipment, performance analysis, scheduled preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance procedures. Aligned with Domain VI of the NABCEP PV Associate Job Task Analysis, this course provides the foundational knowledge needed to assess PV system performance, diagnose common faults, and maintain accurate operations and maintenance records.
