(PV 217) PV Costs & Economics
This four-hour course addresses costs associated with PV systems and how they can be financed.
Participants will explore and discuss all things financial when it comes to PV systems, from installation to end-of-life and everything in-between. Emphasis is placed on staying up-to-date on current policies and programs to determine available rebates, incentives, tax credits, and low interest loan opportunities. Financing options and utility rate plans are also addressed, and students will be introduced to two free MREA financial modeling tools to help calculate PV system costs.
