Thank you to all of the MREA Members who voted in our Board of Directors Election. Congratulations are in order to the following board members who were reelected: Lissa Pawlisch, Pamela Ritger, Grace Fuhr, and Gary Dreier. We are also pleased to announce two new incoming board members: Sarah Mullkoff of the Michigan Energy Office, and Stanley Minnick of Organic Valley.

Both Sarah and Stanley believe in the mission of MREA and work to support clean energy and sustainable living in their careers and everyday lives.

Sarah comes to us from Michigan Energy Office, out of Lansing, Michigan. Sarah administers and coordinates municipal projects related to renewable energy and energy waste reduction. She formerly worked for several Michigan non-profits, including as the Energy Program Director at the Michigan Environmental Council, Midwest Energy and Climate Coordinator at the National Wildlife Federation Great Lakes Regional Center, and Campaigns Coordinator at Clean Water Action Michigan. Sarah also serves on the board of directors for the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association and previously steering committee for RE-AMP, a 160-member coalition of Midwest nonprofits and foundations working on energy policy and climate change throughout the upper Midwest. She’s a graduate of Michigan State University’s James Madison College with a major in international relations and specialization in science, technology, environment, and public policy.

Stanley is the Energy Services Manager for Organic Valley (America’s largest Cooperative of organic farmers). Stanley’s primary responsibility is to facilitate energy efficiency and renewable projects for over 2000 organic farms across the United States. As part of the sustainability department he also works to address short & long-term renewable energy goals for buildings owned by the cooperative. Stanley’s industry experience also includes partnering with non-profits to oversee solar group buy programs and he has managed residential & commercial projects from origination through interconnection. He can also be found serving up delicious OV breakfasts at The Energy Fair.
