As Senior Regional Director, John Delurey coordinates campaigns for Vote Solar’s legislative and regulatory priorities in states throughout the Midwest. John previously worked for residential solar companies designing low-income programs in Illinois, sparking a lifelong interest in making solar and other clean energy technologies more accessible and affordable.
John’s prior work with the Sierra Club focused on improving community solar options for member-owners in Rural Electric Cooperatives and his time overseas was dedicated to off-grid solar access, both with NGOs and with the US Agency for International Development. He speaks Swahili, has a Masters of Public Service, and lives in Bridgeport, Chicago.
