Eric Rehm is a Development Director | Renewables with McKinstry’s National Energy & Technical Services team. In this role, Eric collaborates with higher education campuses, municipalities, and school districts to develop renewable energy solutions driven by each client’s sustainability, decarbonization, or STEM learning goals.
Prior to joining McKinstry, Eric earned his MBA in Finance from Hamline University, while working for the Midwest Renewable Energy Association where he served as a SolSmart Advisor, Solar Group Buy Program leader, solar financial curriculum developer and educator, and more.
Eric also led the State of Minnesota’s Clean Energy Finance Programs that financed more than $70 million in residential, commercial, and tax-exempt energy efficiency and renewable energy projects and supported the growth of Minnesota’s clean economy while lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, he served on Minnesota’s GreenStep Cities Program Advisory Committee to support communities to educate, empower, and mobilize sustainability solutions locally.
Eric began his career at the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s Operations Division for over a decade working on energy efficiency, procurement, sustainability, and operational excellence strategies.
Eric lives in the Twin Cities, where he serves as the City’s Planning Commission Vice Chair and supports his community to realize its future vision.
