Dan Fink has lived 11 miles off the grid, high in the Colorado mountains, since 1991. He has been teaching renewable energy classes since 2006, and is an IREC Certified Instructor in both PV and Small Wind Energy. He is a NABCEP Certified PV System Inspector and NABCEP PV Associate. His company, Buckville Energy Consulting, specializes in remote, off-grid systems and is a NABCEP Registered Continuing Education Provider. Dan was formerly the lead professor of solar energy technology at the Ecotech Institute and was named Instructor of the Year in 2016. He is currently a professor of energy technology at Pueblo Community College in Colorado.
