PLEASE NOTE: The Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) will process your Solar on Schools grant request when we receive this completed application along with a solar site assessment and/or preliminary proposal from a solar company. Other documentation is not required, but is encouraged (i.e. a case study, solid timeline, draft RFP, etc.) This grant is intended for schools that are already in the process of procuring a solar PV system, (i.e. have a budget/plan, solar site assessment(s), a timeline in place, etc.) and NOT for schools that are just beginning the process. The Couillard Solar Foundation cannot hold modules for extended periods of time. Therefore, the Solar on Schools grant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) remains valid for 12 months from date of receipt, meaning your schools needs to begin installation within 12 months of the MOU being processed. Upon completion of this application, and if your school is accepted to receive a Solar on Schools grant, you will be subsequently contacted and provided with a populated MOU. Please Review the Solar on Schools Module Grant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Template before continuing with the application.
