Learn essential skills for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) maintenance.

Course Description

(PV167) Solar PV and BESS O&M Tech 1

This training equips entry-level Operations and Maintenance (O&M) technicians with essential skills for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) maintenance. It fully conforms to the SEIA 301 ANSI Standard, published in June 2025.

The training is appropriate for workers that are new to solar and BESS O&M work. Over the course of 14 modules (approx. 26 hours), the program delivers relevant information in the shortest time possible while promoting safety and efficiency. This training is good for onboarding new hires, upskilling other field professionals for O&M positions.
