Grassroots education is what the MREA was founded on. Since 1990, from DIY solar to backyard composting, the MREA has been connecting individuals to small businesses and organizations who have expertise to share and inspire lifestyle changes, community engagement, and meaningful resources. 35 years later and with significant growth in the renewable energy industry, the MREA’s commitment to continuing to expand access to sustainability education remains at the heart of what we do.
We’re excited to announce a monthly webinar series in which we bring resources to people through their own devices in the comfort of wherever you are! Each month, we’ll amplify an expert in their field as they share information and resources to engage in a variety of topics including but not limited to swapping your grass lawn for native plants, improving your home or rental energy efficiency, and community organizing.
Membership is suggested to continue supporting the MREA’s work, but not required to attend the live webinars.
