The countdown to Chicago Build 2026 is officially on, with the conference agenda now live and packed with the speakers, sessions and topics shaping the Midwest’s built environment.
Returning for what is set to be the biggest edition of the show yet, Chicago Build will bring together 30,000+ AEC and built environment professionals for two action-packed days of networking, education, product discovery, innovation and business opportunities.
This year’s conference program features 450+ speakers across 9 conference tracks, alongside AIA CES-accredited workshops, with content designed around the projects, technologies, policies and ideas shaping construction, design and development across Chicago and the wider Midwest.
This year’s content line-up brings together new tracks, refreshed favourites and returning classics, including:

Across the agenda, attendees can expect practical insight, fresh thinking and high-level discussion on some of the biggest topics facing the industry, from AI in AEC, digital twins and construction automation to housing, commercial real estate, sustainable construction, electrification, fire safety, indoor air quality, workforce development and the major projects reshaping the region.
Speakers taking the stage include representatives from Gensler, JLL, Clayco, SOM, AECOM, WSP USA, City of Chicago, Power Construction, ESCO Institute, IA Interior Architects, TYLin, Chicago Housing Authority and more.
