This package of five MREA courses is ideal for those just entering the solar workforce or preparing to take the NABCEP PV Associate exam. With an experienced local NABCEP Professional as an instructor, this in-person training is designed to send participants home with or ready for an entry-level solar credential of their own. This course package includes PV 101, 201, 202, 304, 220, NABCEP PV Associate Exam, and a textbook.
Training Schedule
The Solar Training Academy curriculum includes a mix on classroom and hands-on lab training. Course progression is as follows:
- 8 hours Basic Photovoltaics (PV 101)
- 8 hours PV Site Assessment (PV 201)
- 16 hours PV System Design (PV 202)
- 8 hours PV Design and Installation Lab (PV 304)
- 4 hours PV Exam Prep (PV 220)
- NABCEP PV Associate Exam (2.5 HRS)
