Workforce Development Training

Workforce Training

For years, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) has partnered with workforce development organizations across the Midwest to create accessible pathways into the growing clean energy industry. Through collaborations with programs such as HIRE360, IMPACT Community Action, Employment Connection, and many other community-based organizations, MREA has delivered hands-on solar and renewable energy training that prepares participants for entry-level careers, apprenticeships, and industry-recognized credentials.

Our programs combine technical instruction, practical skill-building, and career exploration to help individuals from diverse backgrounds gain the confidence and competencies needed to enter the clean energy workforce and support the region’s growing demand for skilled workers.
