Midwest Farm Energy Conference

Join the MREA at the 2026 Midwest Farm Energy Conference on June 16–17 in Morris, MN.

The theme of the conference is “The Age of Agricultural Intelligence: Ammonia, Agrivoltaics & Automation”, and will cover topics such as green ammonia as a farm fuel, electrifying the farm with robots, grazing cows under solar panels, what can we do with all the data, and much more.

Conference Details

Wednesday, June 16:

  • Doors open at noon; presentations begin at 1 pm.
  • Sessions will focus on green ammonia and agrivoltaics.
  • Keynote dinner and program.

Thursday, June 17:

  • Doors open at 7:30 am for a light breakfast; presentations begin at 8 am.
  • Sessions will cover precision agriculture, electrification, and automation.
  • Lunch in the gardens followed by tours.

Other conference activities will include:

  • Electric vehicle showcase including an electric tractor.
  • Tour of WCROC research projects including solar agrivoltaics, agricultural robots, and newly commissioned green hydrogen/ammonia plant.
  • Opportunity to network with energy experts and professionals.
