Evonne Waugh is Program Manager for Midwest Renewable Energy Association’s Solar on
Schools initiative, and she works with the Grow Solar Team to promote renewable energy
education, career programming, and energy equity. Evonne has more than 20 years of
experience in public education leadership, serving diverse school environments at the building
and district-level as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction. Evonne earned her Ph.D. in
Curriculum Design and an MA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. With family roots in both
Chicago and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Evonne enjoys gardening with native plantings in
urban and rural settings, cooking, and biking.
