Jeff joined MREA in 2021 as the AmeriCorps Solar Program Coordinator, and he came on board as a full-time staff member in 2022. In his role, Jeff works closely with the Grow Solar team on the development and management of solar group buys, as well as performing research, outreach, communication, and marketing for solar energy projects across the Midwest.
Jeff earned his bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2015 and has served at multiple non-profit organizations, including a term of service with the Maine Conservation Corps. Raised in northern Wisconsin, he is passionate about expanding access to renewable energy to rural regions and wider populations. Running, reading, and road-tripping to wild places are some of Jeff’s favorite pastimes, but he is most often found tending to his growing collection of houseplants.
