Cris is a self-employed energy consultant, and owner of Master Training Specialist, LLC. He provides design, installation, maintenance, and service work for solar photovoltaic systems and equipment of all sizes in the Midwest. A US Navy certified Master Training Specialist since 1996, he began teaching electronics in 1982.
He taught electronics, industrial maintenance, and renewable energy courses for Madison Area Technical College (Madison College) as a full time faculty member from 1999 to 2017, serving as the Renewable Energy Program Director from 2014 to 2017. He continues to teach for Madison College as a Senior Personnel member of the CreateEnergy.org Energy Center.
He serves as a KidWind coach, and competition judge for the KidWind Wisconsin State and National Competitions. Cris has been teaching small wind energy and solar classes for the MREA since 2006.
