A Note From Our Training Director…
Greetings Energy Enthusiasts,
Despite my initial instinct to write about how bizarre and “uncertain” the last two years have been and how much we’ve all had to adapt to change (so cliché), I think it’s better to report that things are still very much the same here at the MREA. Sure, we’ve upped our online game and learned how to teach through Zoom meetings. Yes, many of us are working from home. Of course, we’ve implemented new policies and procedures for in-person training and lab courses. But I assure you we’re doing what we’ve always done—providing the best and most affordable renewable energy education we possibly can, with student success as our primary driver.
As you page through this catalog, you’ll see that we still offer entry-level solar courses as well as advanced training. You can take courses à la carte or sign up for a full package. We can even arrange training for specific groups and businesses. Our schedule is full and flexible, we’ve got a stellar pool of certified instructors, and our team is stronger than it’s ever been. We’re here to help advance your solar career and reach your personal goals.
All that said, we also have some exciting new courses and programs to share with you, so be sure to read about them in the following pages. Most notable is our new Energy Storage System Tech Center at the MREA and all the related Solar Plus Storage courses and curriculum we’ve developed to complement it. Not only do we harvest the sun’s power, but now we can also store its energy in lithium-ion form thanks to donations from various manufacturers.
Read all about it, join us in 2022, and continue to Shine On!
